Q:What is "Stamp Events"
A:"Stamp Events" is a University initiative coordinated by the Stamp Student Union and Campus Programs.
Q: What does "Stamp Events" do?
A:
The goals of the program are:
- to provide students the opportunity to participate in social, cultural and academic programs on the weekends during the academic year
- to offer weekend programs that are either on-campus or planned by the University if occurring off-campus
- to coordinate the weekend offerings so students see an ongoing level of consistency providing students the ability to plan their weekend schedules
- to balance on-going weekend activities with a selection of special weekends each term
- to co-sponsor other programs on campus to allow more quality programs to be offered
Q: Is there anything that happens on campus on the weekends?
A: Yes! Tons! There are programs, events, and opportunities for students all across campus. You just need to know where to look. "Stamp Events" tries its best to find out everything there is to do and get the word out to you, the student! There really is a lot to do!
Q: Where else can I find out what's happening each weekend?
A:
- Every Thursday in the Diamondback there is a "Stamp Events" ad with a listing of all the upcoming weekend activities.
- There is an e-mail list of the upcoming weekend activities that is sent out to anyone who is interested in receiving it once a week.
- Call the Office of Campus Programs at 301-314-7174 and ask about "Stamp Events".
